Kapil Mishra to visit ACB to submit more evidence in water tanker scam; to continue 'satyagraha'

New Delhi: Sacked Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Kapil Mishra on Friday announced that he would be visiting the Anti-Corruption Bureau today to provide more evidence related to water tanker scam.

The ex-health minister reiterated that he will continue with hunger strike till details of international travel expenses of five AAP leaders are shared.

The sacked Delhi water minister who is on "satyagraha" fast to demand details of foreign tours of AAP leaders, was on Wednesday allegedly attacked.

Mishra alleged that the attacker, who was identified as Ankit Bhardwaj was associated with the Mohalla Clinic programme run under Health Minister Satyendar Jain.

Drama erupted over the the assailant's affiliation with both AAP and BJP terming him an activist of the rival party.

He is currently in the police custody and kept at Civil Lines Police Station.

Mishra had yesterday alleged getting threat calls and launched a hunger strike this morning, demanding that AAP leaders disclose the details of funding for their foreign tours.

He claimed that the details of the foreign trips by AAP leaders would "reveal a lot" about alleged corruption by them.

The Karawal Nagar MLA, who was, Monday, suspended from primary membership of the AAP, filed complaints with the CBI over the exchange of Rs 2 crore between Jain and Kejriwal, a Rs 50- crore land deal arranged for the chief minister's brother-in- law and five AAP leaders allegedly misusing party funds on foreign trips.

The former water minister has also submitted documents to the Anti-Corruption Branch to back his allegations that Kejriwal had delayed the probe into the Rs 400-crore tanker scam.
