New Delhi: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rains, thunderstorm, and dust storm in the Delhi-NCR this weekend.
According to the IMD, Delhiites are likely to get a temporary relief from the scorching heat as squally winds, dust storm accompanied by scattered light rains are most likely to lash parts of the national capital from the evening of May 27 till May 29.
Delhi witnessed heavy rains last Sunday.
India`s monsoon rains are expected to arrive on the southern Kerala coast on May 30.
India looks likely to receive higher monsoon rainfall than previously forecast as concern over the El Nino weather condition has eased, KJ Ramesh, director general of the state-run India Meteorological Department, had told Reuters.
