New Delhi: A day Aam Aadmi Party legislator Kapil Mishra said he had witnessed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal taking Rs 2 crore from Health Minister Satyendra Jain, the AAP on Monday accused the sacked water minister of playing in the lap of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

In a statement, senior AAP leader Dilip Pandey alleged that Mishra got rattled in the wake of his sacking as the Water Minister on Saturday.

The AAP leader further said that by levelling allegation against Kejriwal, Mishra's status has downgraded to “do kaudi”.

Mishra is playing in the lap of the BJP, further alleged Pandey.

Earlier today, Mishra submitted documents to the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) to back his allegations that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had delayed the probe into a Rs 400 crore tanker scam.

He alleged that the investigation into the tanker scam that dated back to Sheila Dikshit's tenure as chief minister was repeatedly delayed and influenced by Kejriwal and "his two men".

Referring to the allegations, Pandey said “the two men” named by Mishra have no connection with the water department.
