New Delhi: On the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji Jayanti, Namah by Koinage presents ‘Nanak Naam Dhyayiye’.

The devotional song is dedicated to the first of the ten Sikh Gurus, Guru Nanak Dev Ji. It was released on Friday on YouTube and other music streaming platforms.

It urges people to meditate on the name of Guru Nanak Dev and follow his teachings.

Guru Nanak Dev Ji is an embodiment of peace and love.

He was said to have travelled far and wide across Asia teaching people the message of Ik Onkar (One God), who dwells in every one of his creations and constitutes the eternal Truth. 

‘Nanak Naam Dhayayiye’ is sung by playback Singer Gaurav Bangia. Its lyrics are penned by Ravi Chopra and the music is composed by Surinder Sehaj. 

Speaking on the release, Gaurav Bangia, said, “We are elated to present, ‘Nanak Naam Dhyayiye’- a musical tribute to the Guru Nanak Devji on his Prakash Utsav. There is a unique reference to globalism and karma in the holy speeches delivered by Guru Nanak Dev. His life-philosophy work as a torchbearer, giving directions to the world even during the current time.”

Gaurav Bangia is an Indian playback singer and the first winner of ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’, a popular reality singing television show.

The multitalented passionate singer has rendered his voice for various songs from bhajans to ghazals.
