Yuvraj Singh's World Cup quarter-final knock against Australia in 2011 was very special: Mohammad Kaif

New Delhi: Whenever the names of Yuvraj Singh and Mohammad Kaif come together, Indian cricket fans can't hold themselves from recalling the 2002 NatWest series final against England where the duo guided India to one of their most famous victories ever.

Kaif, who regularly hosts the #AskKaif event on Twitter, was recently asked by a fan to name his most memorable Yuvraj Singh knock apart from the 2002 NatWest final.

"@MohammadKaif #AskKaif any memorable knock of @YUVSTRONG12 except NatWest series final?" the fan asked.

While admitting that Yuvi has played many special knocks and it will be difficult to pick one, Kaif chose to pick the 2011 World Cup quarter-final knock against Australia his best ever.

"He has played many unbelievable knocks, but that WC QF innings against Australia at Ahmedabad was really special @YUVSTRONG12 #AskKaif," replied the former Indian batsman.

Though for the fans, Yuvi's 6 sixes against England in the 2007 World T20 will probably remain his most special knock but considering the importance of his innings of 57-not out against the Aussies in the quarter finals, it can not be ruled out as his most special contribution to the Indian cricket.
