Karachi: Legendary fast bowler Wasim Akram has revealed that his biggest regret as a bowler was not being able to get his name on the honours board at the Lord`s Cricket Ground.

Pointing out his 25 five-wicket haul in the Test cricket, the 50-year-old former captain insisted that he lamented not being able to bag a five-wicket haul at the `home of cricket`.

Akram had featured in four Test matches against England at Lord`s, where Pakistan won two matches and lost one, with one match settling in a draw.

Reflecting on his experience at Lord`s, the former left-arm pacer admitted that each match had a special place in his memory, the Express Tribune reported.

Akram further said it was a `dream come true` for him to play his first Test at Lord`s.

However, the fast bowling legend said that he did not want to recall his farewell match at the home of cricket as Pakistan slumped to a crushing innings defeat to England.

Overall, Akram has taken 12 wickets from his four matches at Lord`s, with the best figures being four for 66.
