Virat Kohli's Teachers' Day tribute to Rajkumar Sharma will make you respect him even more

New Delhi: One of Virat Kohli's greatest qualities is that he never forgets where he came from.

In the ruthless world of international cricket, several young players have lost their way after making it to their respective national teams.

Virat too suffered a similar fate after his debut Indian Premier League season. At the time, his coach Rajkumar Sharma stood behind him like a rock and helped Virat emerge from the debacle as a much superior batsman.

Since then the Delhi batsman never looked back and even went on to takeover India's Test captaincy from MS Dhoni.

On the occasion of Teachers' Day, Virat remembered his roots yet again, as he posted a heart-warming tribute to his partnership with Sharma.

As the 27-year-old walked down memory lane, he did not forget to recollect the tough times.

Last month, Mr. Sharma was conferred the Dronacharya Award for helping shape the futures of several young players.
