New Delhi: Indian captain Virat Kohli's time on crease during 1st innings of Ranchi Test between India and Australia was short lived after Aussie quickie Pat Cummins dismissed him for 6.

Kohli, coming to bat after sustaining a shoulder injury during 1st day of play of the same match, stayed off the ground for 400 minutes but batted at his regular number four spot.

The Indian skipper was greeted with loud cheers by the home crowd at India`s newest Test venue but could only last for 23 deliveries.

Soon after Steve Smith had taken the catch to send Kohli back to the dressing room, the celebration was concluded by the Aussie captain strongly reacting to his Indian counterpart's dismissal while a few moments ago
