New Delhi: It sure was a fake news. Earlier on Thursday, reports of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan suggesting a three-match series between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Peshawar Zalmi emerged.
But within, hours it both the Indian Premier League (IPL) and Pakistan Super League (PSL) sides refute the rumours to the chagrin of cricket fans.
“Shah Rukh has asked me to talk to the Pakistani government and he will talk to the Indian government himself,” Zalmi CEO Javed Afridi was quoted as saying by tribune.com.pk.
The Express Tribune also carried a similar story, claiming the Bollywood actor will talk to the Indian government regarding the same.
But the rumour fizzled out in no time, with both the franchises dismissing the report.
