New Delhi: In a humanitarian effort, current Pakistan Test captain Misbah-ul-Haq has donated Rs. 3 Lakhs to his fan Rohaan, who required a large sum of money to undergo a surgery in Lahore. Misbah raised this fund from auctioning his bat and t-shirt.
According to the Express Tribune report, Rohaaan 16, has a hole in his heart and had to undergo the surgery for the cure. The surgery requires a large chunk of money which the family of Rohaan can't bear.
The 42-year old skipper came to know about Rohaan's illness from his mentor Tahir Shah, who lives in his locality. After hearing the news, Misbah came forward and decided to bear half of the expense for the treatment and reportedly put his bat and t-shirt up for auction to raise rest of the money. All the money that has been raised from the auction was given for the treatment of Rohaan.
Rohaan himself is a huge of Misbah-ul-Haq, he remembers every thing about him from his debut to his centuries and other records. But due to his illness he himself can't play cricket.
Misbah, who first met this fan back in 2015 world cup, finds it hard to meet him this time as he has to leave for Australia-Pakistan Test series which is schedule to start from 15th December at Gabba.
