Devika Vaidya is caught by Kaur off Matthews' first delivery, giving Matthews a wicket. The ball was pitched with a simple flight outside the off stump, and Devika tried to drive it by leaning forward. However, she ended up with a thick edge, and Harman, who was very attentive, dived to her right and caught the ball with one hand. It was an excellent catch and an impressive start for MI, with only one run on the board. Devika Vaidya departs for just one run off seven balls, caught by Kaur off Matthews' bowling.
