The second session on the fourth day of the third Test between England and West Indies have also been washed out without a ball being bowled due to rain.

As and when West Indies thought that some action might be possible on the fourth day of the third Test, it once again started raining in Manchester.

UPDATE: There will be an official inspection at 7.30 p.m IST (3 pm GMT) if there is no more rain.

The first session on the fourth day of the third Test between England and West Indies has been washed out due to rain. Not a single delivery could be bowled throughout the morning session. 

Meanwhile, it is still raining in Manchester and looks like the start of fourth day's play will be possible only after Lunch as clear skies are expected in the afternoon.

Notably, Stuart Broad is just one wicket shy of becoming the seventh bowler to take 500 Test wickets.
