India vs West Indies 3rd ODI: Kohli's ton goes in vain as guests register maiden 43-run win
India recorded a 43-run loss against the West Indies at Pune, despite a fighting 107 from Indian skipper Virat Kohli.

The third ODI between India and West Indies proved to be a thriller with Virat Kohli scoring yet another century, making it 3 centuries in 3 ODIs. India were handed a target of 283 following a handy cameo from Ashley Nurse in the last few overs with the Windies all set to be restricted below 250 at one stage.
With Virat Kohli in the middle, India were expected to romp home but his unexpected dismissal permitted the West Indies to make a comeback resulting in a maiden win.
Veteran spinner Marlon Samuels was the pick of the West Indian bowlers, with figures of 3/12 dismissing key batsman Virat Kohli when it mattered the most.
India have lost their 1-0 lead on the five-match series with the series currently balanced 1-1. Both the sides will be looking to make a comeback in the upcoming match at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai.

There were over 600 runs scored in the second ODI between India and West Indies with centuries from Virat Kohli and Shai Hope. The West Indies paced their chase well after being handed a target of 322 by India only to lose a flurry of wickets in the middle and late overs.
However, Shai Hope managed to take the match to the final over with a boundary off the last ball ensuring that the match ended in a tie.
Chinaman Kuldeep Yadav was the pick of the Indian bowlers, picking 3 wickets after skipper Kohli dominated the Windies bowling attack, having opted to bat first, with a stunning 157.
India are currently leading the five-match series 1-0 but West Indies would now hope that the momentum from the second clash carries them past the finish line in the matches to come.
