New Delhi: There's no dull moment in the life of Virender Sehwag, and the former India opener is never out of words when it comes to wishing someone a happy birthday.

A day after celebrating his 38th birthday, the Nawab of Najafgarh was back at his best, and revealed that former India player Sarandeep Singh is also known as Nannu.

Sarandeep, who celebrates his 37th birthday, today received probably the best ever which he ever got from the Twitter King. It seemed like Sewhag had indeed invoked his muse to write, "Happy Birthday Selector ji @sarandeep_9 urf Nannu. Nannu ki godi mein ninni coming and feeling like Nanha Sa , Munna Sa, Pyaara sa Bachha."

Pretty hard lines for any translation, but it certainly can be used as a lullaby, even for a grown-up cricketer like himself, as seen in the associated photo post.

Sarandeep played three Test and five ODI matches for India, with limited success, but the Amritsar-born all-rounder has found success in cricket administration.

He is currently serving as a national selector for the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Last month, Sarandeep became a bone of contention between DDCA and Mudgal committee over the cricketer-turned-selectors inclusion in the Delhi selection panel.

Sarandeep played for Punjab, Delhi and Himachal Preadesh Ranji teams, scoring a combined 2216 First-class runs and taking 314 wickets.

Primarily a off-break bowler, he also played in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for Delhi Daredevils.
