After leaking MS Dhoni's India Cements' offer letter, Lalit Modi takes on N Srinivasan and Anurag Thakur

New Delhi: Former Indian Premier League (IPL) commissioner Lalit Modi, who recently took the Internet by storm for leaking former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni's offer letter for India Cements, has now hit out at N Srinivasan and Anurag Thakur for causing huge losses to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Through a post on his Instagram account, Lalit alleged that both Srinivasan and Thakur - who were the last two presidents of the Indian board - were responsible for causing losses in excess of Rs 3,798 crores.

Modi added that Srinivasan's decision to scrap off Champions League Twenty20, had cost Indian cricket a revenue loss of $500 million.

Earlier on Monday, Modi leaked the employment offer letter of Rising Pune Supergiant star Dhoni with India Cements, owned by Srinivasan - the ex-BCCI boss.

Sharing the employment letter on Instagram, Lalit Modi questioned the motive behind such employment considering the fact that Dhoni earns approximately Rs.100 crore in a year.

“‪It seems only in #india#contempt after contempt continues by the #old #guards of @bcci - How ? My best guess is #northblock. But most #puzzling is this #employment #contract of #MSD - WHY ? he earns 100’s of crores a year will he #agree to be #SRINI’S #employee. bet there are many such contracts,” he wrote on the Instagram post.

Modi, who was sacked as IPL commissioner in 2010 over alleged charges of money laundering, is currently in London.
