New Delhi: Tim Cook will on Thursday inaugurate Apple's development centre in Hyderabad in the presence of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Tim Cook is in India on a five-day visit and arrived Tuesday night on a private jet from Beijing and is staying in a large suite at the iconic Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai.
As per reports, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and Tim Cook will inaugurate the facility Thursday. State IT Minister K T Ramarao will also be present during the function,
Apple may use the facility as mapping centre for its applications.
A spokesperson of Apple said the entire event will be kept as a private affair and media will not be allowed.
Cook will also be in Bangluru today to set up an app design and development centre to support developers in India creating innovative mobile apps for its iOS platform.
On the first day of his maidan India visit, Tim Cook met with honchos of India Inc, leading bankers and the Bollywood royalty.
