Noel Gallagher taking two year break from band

London: Noel Gallagher is planning to take two years off on his wife’s orders, after he finishes touring with his High Flying Birds. The former Oasis lead guitarist said that his wife Sara wants him to have time at home to be with their children after what will have been a year on the road. Gallagher, 44, also revealed that he has softened his war with brother Liam. The pair now communicate through their peacemaker mum Peggy and Noel is back on speaking terms with ex-Oasis bandmate Gem Archer. “It’s a happy camp at the moment because the record has been really well received. It is selling like hot cakes in England,” the Daily Express quoted him as saying. “We can’t get rid of them fast enough. I did not expect it. “I’m going to tour the a*** out of it until the wheels fall off. Then I’m going to indulge my wife for a year or two,” he said. The band will be at this summer’s festivals across Europe before Noel’s break. ANI
