Peter Andre mourns brother`s death

London: Singer Peter Andre is devastated after his brother Andrew lost his battle against cancer. Andrew, 54, passed away in the early hours of Sunday morning with Peter and the rest of the Andre family by his bed side. "Peter is devastated. He was very, very, very close to his brother. This is the first family member Peter has experienced losing," dailymail.co.uk quoted a representative as saying. He needs time to grieve, added the representative. Peter, 39, postponed his tour earlier this month, when his older brother Andrew`s health deteriorated. He was diagnosed with kidney cancer in February. Within weeks Andrew had flown to the Britain from his home in Australia so he could be with his family while going through treatment. Andre rushed to his side at the hospital here, while his parents came from Australia last week. "Everyone was with him when he passed away," said a family friend. IANS
