Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz finalize divorce

Washington: Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz have parted ways formally, breaking their three and a half years of marriage. According to legal documents filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court, the couple, who split in February, formally ended their union on November 22, Contactmusic reported. However, the details of the pair’s divorce settlement have not been disclosed and it is still unclear who will be given the primary physical custody of the couple’s three-year-old son Bronx, TMZ reported. The two are also believed to have worked out a “secret deal” regarding the division of their other assets and multi-million dollar empire. Wentz had previously revealed that he and his estranged wife were trying to make home life as “easy as possible” for Bronx. “Everything at home is good. We try to make his life as easy to navigate as possible and he’s growing up so it’s important for everyone who loves him to be involved with his life,” he added. ANI
