New Delhi: After various updates and rumours, multi-messaging app WhatsApp has finally rolled out call back and voicemail features for Android.

However, the features are available with Android Beta version and slso available in the form of a signed APK from APK Mirror as of now.

The Android beta version is 2.16.189.

So, how does it work?

Once the version is installed on your phone, users can call anyone on their contact list. Regardless of the version the recipient is using, the feature works.

And when the recipient declines or fails to answer, the caller is greeted with a new screen which shows three options – cancel, call back and record voice messages.

So, with the Cancel button, the screen will be close while the Call Back can be used to call back the person again. Or one can record voice messages with the VoiceMail option and send it like any other voice message.

WhatsApp is currently trying out the Beta version and there are no words as to when a stable version will be made available for Android and iOS users.
