After introducing its first gay character, Archie Comics has now featured the same-sex wedding.

London: After introducing its first gay character, Archie Comics has now featured the same-sex wedding between Kevin Keller and partner Clay Walker on its front cover for the first time.
The Life With Archie 16th issue due out on Wednesday feature soldier Kevin marry doctor Clay in front all their friends and family, the Daily Mail reported.
The 70-year-old magazine is known for keeping up with the changes and world events. In the latest issue, Kevin joins the army but is injured while serving a tour in Iraq. While recovering from his injuries in a hospital rehabilitation unit, he meets Clay and they eventually fall in love. Kevin, the first gay character of the series, was introduced to the readers in April 2010. First published in 1941 in `Pep Comics`, the series has sold more than 1.5 billion and is published in a dozen foreign languages. The Life With Archie series, which takes off from the original, follows the lives of the Riverdale High School students -- Archie and his sweethearts Veronica and Betty among others, as they enter their 20s. In 2010, the Life With Archie series was revived as a magazine-sized comic devoted to stories that grew out of the main character`s wedding to Veronica and Betty. Archie married both, in parallel universes. In the new series, Archie is seen attending Kevin`s wedding with Betty. PTI
