Padma Lakshmi proud of bilingual daughter Krishna`s perfect Tamil

London: Padma Lakshmi, who speaks English, Tamil, Hindi, Italian and Spanish, has revealed that she is especially proud of her little girl Krishna’s sophisticated tongue. The 41-year-old actress gave birth to her daughter in February 2010. Although the identity of the father was not initially given, it was later revealed to be Adam Dell. “My daughter is bilingual, so she can count to ten in a few languages, which is always charming when your relatives come over. They are very happy about that,” the Daily Mail quoted her as telling iVillage.co.uk. “She speaks my native language, which is Tamil. It’s a South Indian language. She’s running and dancing and talking. “She has her own personality. She’s this fully-formed, tiny, opinionated girl,” Lakshmi added. ANI
