Bar Refaeli tweets excitement on topping Maxim’s 2012 Hot 100 list

London: Bar Refaeli, who is one of the most beautiful and hardworking models in the business, has been crowned the hottest women in the world by men’s magazine Maxim in their 2012 Hot 100 list. The 26-year-old model tweeted her excitement about the top accolade on Tuesday. “So happy and honored to be #1 on #Maximhot100! thank you @maximmag! “This is very exciting!’” the Daily Mail quoted her as tweeting. This year was the first time Maxim had their readers help decide who is on the list. Coming in second place for the second year in a row is ‘Magic Mike’ star Olivia Munn, and bumping up from fifth place to third from last year is Mila Kunis. Katy Perry suffered a slight drop falling from third to fourth place. Olivia Wilde meanwhile rocketed up the list, powering up from 15th place to fifth place. Also appearing on the roll call is Kate Middleton’s little sister Pippa at number 81. Growing up in Israel, Refaeli started her modelling career at the tender age of eight months when she appeared in a commercial. Although a few years of braces briefly derailed her modelling, she soon returned to it in her teens. But it was only after she started dating Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio in late 2005 when she was 20 that she hit the big time.
