Farrell spends Christmas with sick children

Los Angeles: Irish actor Colin Farrell spread some Christmas cheer among sick children by paying them a surprise visit at a hospital on Sunday. On Christmas Day, the `In Bruges` star made a surprise visit to Our Lady`s Children`s Hospital in Dublin, Ireland to deliver more than 100 presents to the kids, reported Aceshowbiz. Neither the press nor the paparazzi were tipped off about Farrell`s surprise visit. Some of the children`s relatives took to Twitter to share their excitement over the 35-year-old actor`s visit. One of the relatives wrote, "Just chatting with #ColinFarrell who is in with presents for the kids here in #Crumlin. No tv/media, a gentleman and genuine." Another one tweeted, "Just met Colin Farrell he came to meet the kids in crumlin hospital really nice man. fair play to him putting a smile on the childrens faces (sic)." PTI
