Abhishek Bachchan to reprise dad’s role in ‘Do Aur Do Paanch’ remake

Zeenews Bureau Mumbai: The word around B-town is that Abhishek Bachchan, who celebrated his 37th birthday recently, has finally agreed to reprise his dad’s role in a remake of ‘Do Aur Do Paanch’. Producer Kunal Kohli has taken up this project almost 33 years after the original movie, also starring Shashi Kapoor, was released. The comedy will see Bobby Deol take on Shashi’s role while the lead women are still being finalized. Kunal Kohli, though, kept guarded on the casting and refused to reveal anything as yet but did add that they would “make a formal announcement as soon as we are ready with all details.” What seems to be finalized already is that the project will be directed by newcomer Akshaye Puri, designer Manish Malhotra’s cousin.
