Twelve never-before-released songs of guitar legend Jimi Hendrix are set to be released more than 40 years after his death.

New York: Twelve never-before-released songs of guitar legend Jimi Hendrix are set to be released more than 40 years after his death.
The album called ‘People, Hell and Angels’, features songs of the late guitarist which were recorded between 1968 and 1970. The tracks were expected to appear on the follow-up to 1968`s ‘Electric Ladyland’, but were never officially released, reported CBS.
Many of the songs were recorded at New York`s Record Plant Studios. And there`s even a guest appearance by Stephen Stills. According to a statement on JimiHendrix.Com, the album "encompass a variety of unique sounds and styles incorporating many of the elements - horns, keyboards, percussion and second guitar." Hendrix`s posthumous release was made possible is by a group of producers and preservationists, who worked on the material. PTI
