Hooda, Khemu to team up for crime thriller?

Mumbai: Actors Randeep Hooda and Kunal Khemu, who seem to be the current favourites with the Bhatt camp, are likely to be cast in their next crime thriller directed by Vishal Mahadkar. "All I can say is that it is a crime thriller. It is a hard hitting film which deals with what is happening in the world of crime today. There is a touch of underworld also and it is fictitious in a way," Mahadkar, who recently made his directorial debut with `Blood Money`, told reporters. While Randeep was last seen in Vishesh Film`s `Jannat 2`, Khemu played the lead role in `Blood Money`. "Talks are on with both the actors and we have discussed the story with them. They seem to be positive about it, but nothing has been finalised yet. It is a two-hero film and would have one female lead. Hopefully by the end of this month we would cast the lead actors," he said. There is buzz that model-turned-actress Esha Gupta, who made her acting debut in `Jannat 2`, would be the leading lady in the movie. The shooting for the untitled film would begin in August-September. PTI
