Los Angeles: Marvel studios have confirmed a sequel to the 2012 superhero movie ‘The Avengers’ and the project will be once again helmed by Joss Whedon. Walt Disney studios has announced a release date for Marvel`s sequel to the biggest superhero blockbuster and third highest-grossing film of all time ‘The Avengers’. The film is scheduled to release May 1, 2015, reports contactmusic.com.
