WDM witnesses trade worth Rs 1524.50 cr on NSE

During the trading week ended today, the total turnover was Rs 9722.84 crore and the total number of trades was 265.

Mumbai: The Wholesale Debt Market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 1524.50 crore in 37 trades.

The 364-days treasury bills (issue no.030316) traded at Rs 200.00 crore at weighted yield of 7.10 percent, the 182-days treasury bills (issue no.010116) traded at Rs 200.00 crore at weighted yield of 7.08 percent, 7.88 percent government securities maturing in CG2030 traded value at Rs 150.00 crore at weighted yield of 7.79 percent.

During the trading week ended today, the total turnover was Rs 9722.84 crore and the total number of trades was 265.

The highest volume amount of trade during the week was at Rs 2,729.39 crore as on October 29, while the lowest volume amount was Rs 1523.05 crore on Oct 26.

This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years was quoted at 7.45 percent, 7.71 percent, 7.64 percent and 7.82 percent, respectively.

The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing within 90 days was 7.03 percent, it was 7.10 percent for bills of 91-182 days tenure and 7.14 percent for bills of 183-365 days' tenure.

During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on the WDM was Rs 6,709.19 crore. Trading in Non Government securities was at Rs 3,013.65 crore, representing 69.00 percent and 31.00 percent of the total traded value, respectively, the NSE release said.
