London: The Feeling frontman Dan Gillespie Sells has apologised to fans after the band`s upcoming tour was postponed by six months.
The group`s dates were due to kick off in April, but they have called off the trek and rescheduled the shows for October and November.
Sells has put the move down to the band`s change in record label, revealing their new bosses wanted them to tour around the release of their next album later in the year, reported Daily Star.
In a post on the group`s website, he wrote, "I wanted to write a note to say how genuinely sorry we are to hear that some of you have had your travel/accommodation plans messed up by the moving of the UK tour from April to October.
"Happily, the tour has sold really well - so that wasn`t the issue - but we`re actually in the process of signing a new record deal... And the new label need the tour to be around the release of the new album, later in the year.
"Our very experienced live booking agent was strongly of the opinion that we couldn`t do a tour in April and another in October (as most acts` fans only want to see them once a year), so that led to the very difficult decision to move the existing tour... Apologies again for the hassles it`s caused some of you," Sells added.
