WATCH: Emraan Hashmi, Huma Qureshi and Kalki Koechlin in ‘Ek Thi Daayan’

Zeenews Bureau Delhi: So after several months of anticipation, horror-lovers can now heave a sigh of relief. The first official trailer of ‘Ek Thi Daayan’ has been released by Balaji Motion Pictures, and boy, what a trailer it is! Emraan Hashmi’s tryst with the supernatural world is bound to travel several rungs up the ladder, given the way the actor appears in the trailer. Hashmi’s earlier outings with the supernatural genre have included the successful ‘Raaz 2’ and ‘Raaz 3’, and in ‘Ek Thi Daayan’ too, people would have to watch out for his acting skills, for sure! Huma Qureshi and Kalki Koechlin, too appear in the trailer, but Emraan dominates screen time. A blend of spookiness, scary dolls and a tag line, “Every high-rise has a hell… Every hell has a queen… The queen must return”; the trailer sure makes way for a lot of expectations from the film. Konkona Sen Sharma is suspected to be playing the role of the ‘Daayan’, but we’ll need to wait and watch for the same at the moment! ‘Ek Thi Daayan’ is directed by Kannan Iyer and is produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj.
