Anup Soni gets Youth Icon Award

Dehradun: TV actor Anup Soni was honoured with the Youth Icon Award by the state chief minister Vijay Bahuguna. The prestigious award recognises the talents in various fields and the 38-year-old `Balika Vadhu` actor is the one to receive it. Apart from TV soaps, Soni also appeared in many films including `Gangaajal`, `Dus Kahaniyaan` and `Apaharan`. According to an official release, model Madhurima Tuli, six-year-old drummer Amogh Bhatt among many other social workers, doctors and journalists are the recipients of this year`s award organised at ONGC auditorium here. "Youth are those who have younger thought process," said Bahuguna. PTI
