Ex-wife Mimi Rogers sympathises with Tom Cruise

Los Angeles: Hollywood star Tom Cruise`s former wife Mimi Rogers has expressed her sympathy over his recent heartbreak. The 56-year-old actress, who was married to Cruise from 1987 to 1990, said she has sincere feelings of sympathy for the actor and his third wife Holmes over their recent split, reported Us magazine online. "I wish them both the best. There`s not much else to say. I really do, though. I wish them the best," Rogers said. Cruise and Holmes, who have a six-year-old daughter Suri, split in June after five years together when the later filed for divorce. Holmes has since been granted sole custody of their daughter. The 33-year-old actress reportedly sought comfort in Cruise`s second wife Nicole Kidman, who has two adopted children with the actor and has been friends with Holmes since 2006. PTI
