Chris Brown ordered to appear in court

Singer Chris Brown has been ordered to appear in court to clear up a community service query linked to his 2009 battery conviction after assaulting then girlfriend Rihanna.

Los Angeles: Singer Chris Brown has been ordered to appear in court to clear up a community service query linked to his 2009 battery conviction after assaulting then girlfriend Rihanna.
During the routine progress report hearing for Brown`s felony battery conviction for assaulting the R&B star, which he wasn`t required to attend, the judge expressed concerns about a discrepancy in hours that the Grammy-winning singer had completed in his required community labour.
The judge ordered the 23-year-old to appear in person next month in the court, reported Radar Online. Judge Schnegg asked the probation department to establish where Brown resides because he owns a home in Los Angeles, and had been doing his community labour in his native Virginia. The judge also wants an audit done on Brown`s hours to ensure the accuracy. PTI
