New Delhi: What may sound music to the BJP ears, Congress, the main opposition party in Parliament may be planning to drop its main demand - the tax rate to be written into Constitutional amendment - as per Times of India report.
The report also adds that Congress may do away with the demand if the ruling government provides strong commitment to reasonable tax rate, as deemed fir by the party.
Non-inclusion of 18 percent tax rate may turn up good for the passage of much awaited GST bill in the coming parliamentary session.
