Britney Spears gets thumbs up from judge at conservatorship hearing

Britney Spears, who met Judge Reva Goetz four years after the conservatorship was imposed on her, is said to have ‘impressed’ the judge with her progress.

Washington: Britney Spears, who met Judge Reva Goetz four years after the conservatorship was imposed on her, is said to have ‘impressed’ the judge with her progress.
The singer had lost control of her personal and financial affairs following her very public meltdown and stint in rehab in 2008.
The 30-year-old singer arrived at the hearing in a fuschia top and a pair of white jeans and was joined by fiance Jason Trawick, her father Jamie Spears and several bodyguards. “The conservatorship is not ending today. This was a scheduled hearing and the judge wanted to talk to Britney directly about how she is doing,” Radaronline quoted sources as saying. The meeting is said to have lasted a short time, around 5 minutes in the Judge’s chamber. Following her breakdown a group of people, including her father and several attorneys took control of her finances as well as certain aspects of her life. The conservatorship was made permanent but ‘Toxic’ hitmaker is now in the process of petitioning to have the legal measure removed. ANI
