New Delhi: After Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, now his wife will also be provided heightened security cover by the central government.

Z category security was earmarked for Mukesh Ambani in 2013 after an Indian Mujahideen threat to him through an anonymous letter. Though, Nita Ambani has received no specific threat, but sources say that she always remains under high-risk category, as she is a wife of Mukesh Ambani.

Nita Ambai has received the Y category security cover from CISF. Nita Ambani remains active with IPL T20 cricket franchisee Mumbai Indian, as well as other Reliance Foundation related work.
