London: Myleene Klass, who split with Graham Quinn after just six months of marriage, has revealed that she has still not told her children - Ava, four, and 14-month-old Hero - that their father has left them. Tour manager Quinn had walked out on Klass in April, and the singer’s weight has plummeted since the split.
Family and friends fear for her health because she is unable to sleep and has zero appetite as she prepares for a bitter divorce battle with Quinn.
“I’ve never been so hurt — how could he do this? It’s heartbreaking for me but it will even more devastating for Ava and Hero,” a leading daily has quoted her as telling a friend.
“How can I tell them their daddy is never coming home? How do you tell a young child their father doesn’t want to be with them anymore? I never thought this day would come. I married for life, but now it’s over,” she said.
The former Hear’Say member is now planning to sell the couple’s 3.2 million pound Hertfordshire home after telling friends: “I can’t bear to live there anymore.”
Quinn, 38, signalled his desire to move on after secretly buying a flat and moving in just five days after the split. Klass has already quit the house and is living with a close friend in central London, along with Ava and Hero.
“She’s in a bad way — her whole world’s fallen in and she can’t believe it. She’s trying to put a brave face on it but is so angry with Graham for trashing what they had,” a friend said.
