Paul McCartney launches online remix project for fans

London: Beatles legend Paul McCartney is giving fans the chance to remix his songs by launching an online version of his home recording studio. The 69-year-old singer has uploaded four tracks, including the title song from his hit 1973 album `Band on the Run`, on his official website, reported a leading daily. He has utilised digital technology to allow users to adjust the volume of the drums, guitars, keyboards and vocals and has vowed to upload his favourites to Soundcloud.Com. "In 1971, Paul and (wife) Linda escaped London to their farm in Scotland. At the farm, Paul had a little studio put in so that he could demo, experiment and make music. That was RUDE STUDIO. Now YOU can experiment with Paul`s music online at NEW RUDE STUDIO," a post on the website reads. PTI
