‘Missing’ Veena Malik secretly slips into Pakistan

Zeenews Bureau Mumbai: Well…this is getting really serious! Pakistani starlet Veena Malik, who went `missing` while shooting for a Bollywood film in Mumbai, has secretly moved to her home country. Apparently, the lady’s Indian manager had filed a complaint with a Police station in Mumbai after she went missing. He believed that she was under severe depression following her “nude” photo shoot controversy that stirred a storm in Pakistan. Moreover, her father had publicly announced that he has disowned her for shaming him and also called for strict action against her. However, according to the latest reports, Veena mysteriously slipped into Lahore via Wagah Border in Amritsar to renew her visa that was nearing its expiry. Reportedly, the actress was wearing a burqa and was escorted by her “good friend” Ashmit Patel. Her friends from across the border were waiting to receive her. Her arrival to her home country too went unnoticed as she was burqa clad and her name on the passport is Zahida, which happens to be her real name. Hmm…we really wonder if going missing like this is professionalism Ms Veena! (With inputs from ANI)
