Washington: `Star Wars` actress Carrie Fisher has been hospitalised following a bizarre performance on board a Caribbean cruise ship last week, which her representative claimed was caused by the actress` bipolar disorder.
The video footage of the performance, which took place last week on board the Holland America Eurodam in the Caribbean, shows the 56-year-old actress slurring a couple off-key songs, TMZ.com reported.
According to reports, Fisher - featured on the cruise as a "surprise" celebrity guest - was wasted at the time of the show.
Her representative said that there was a medical incident related to Fisher`s bipolar disorder and she went to the hospital briefly to adjust her medication and is feeling much better now.
Fisher, who is a recovering drug addict, has publicly discussed her bipolar disorder in the past.
