Amanda Bynes furious at being called new Lindsay Lohan

Chicago: Amanda Bynes is angry at being compared to Lindsay Lohan for her frequent run-ins with law. The `Easy A` actress reportedly hates the comparison because she believes she`s better than Lohan, who is upset that Bynes hasn`t been punished despite her repeated traffic violations, Chicago Sun-Times reported. "Amanda is furious about being compared to Lindsay, who has had a long history of substance abuse and so many problems. Amanda has that one DUI and that`s not good, but you can`t really compare the two of them," a source told the newspaper. Lohan was upset that Bynes was let off easily for the same crime which landed her in jail. "Why did I get put in jail and a nickelodeon star has had NO punishment(s) so far?" Lohan tweeted. Bynes is currently facing a DUI charge and two counts of hit-and-run misdemeanor. Her driving mishaps led to her license being suspended and her car being impounded when she ignored judge`s order not to drive without a valid license. PTI
