Brad Pitt obsessed with French jam

Brad Pitt is apparently obsessed with his 12-pound pots of French jam and can`t get enough of it.

London: Brad Pitt is apparently obsessed with his 12-pound pots of French jam and can`t get enough of it.
The ` Fight Club` star and partner Angelina Jolie have loaded larders of the stuff, worth 1,200-pounds, in both their LA and Cote d`Azur mansions, the Mirror reported.
The love affair with the jam started after Pitt and eldest son Maddox flew to Alsace, where the posh preserve is made. The obsession began when the actor had his first taste of the fruity delicacy and immediately tracked down its creator Christine Ferber , also known as the "Jam Fairy". Determined to get the full experience, the Golden Globe winner decided to visit Ferber, who is known as the Heston Blumenthal of jam-making and prides herself on her unique recipes, in person during a recent break in filming. According to the publication, Pitt is very particular about what he eats but fell in lust with this jam. The Hollywood heart throb turned detective and discovered Ferber has a little shop in the Alsace region, where she makes the artisan jams which are very well known among the jam-making fraternity. The British tabloid asserted that Pitt soon jumped on a plane with Maddox and checked the place out personally. The father-son duo had an excellent time tasting the different types of jams and Ferber`s other homemade delicacies. The national enquirer also added that the pair came home with dozens of pots and he and Jolie have now had to designate a special room just to store it in their Brignoles villa. The publication also claimed that the 49-year-old actor is even beginning to experiment with his own recipes. ANI
