Govt nominates Anna Roy on board of Bank of India, IIFCL
Government has nominated Anna Roy, Joint Secretary in Finance Ministry, on the board of Bank of India (BoI) and India Infrastructure Finance Company Ltd (IIFCL).
New Delhi: Government has nominated Anna Roy, Joint Secretary in Finance Ministry, on the board of Bank of India (BoI) and India Infrastructure Finance Company Ltd (IIFCL).
"The central government hereby nominates Anna Roy, Joint Secretary in Department of Financial Services, Finance Ministry as government nominee on the board of BoI with immediate effect," a Finance Ministry notification said.
Besides, she has been nominated on board of IIFCL as government nominee.
IIFCL, a wholly-owned government company, was incorporated on January 5, 2006 under the Companies Act, 1956 with an authorised share capital of Rs 1000 crore. It commenced its operation from April 2006.
The company was mandated to provide long-term debt to viable infrastructure projects.
