New Delhi: Totally opposite to her brand name ‘Not So Serious’, Pallavi Mohan`s collection that she showcased at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week 2013 Autumn-Winter Thursday represented women who are intelligent, strong and mature.
Refined and sophisticated garments are perfect for those who prefer dark and bold shades.
"I have participated in the fashion week after two seasons. I wanted to create structured, well-constructed garments. I was always into easy to wear silhouettes, but to wear my latest collection you got to have guts and the body type," said Pallavi who showcased her collection on day two of the fashion event organised by Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI).
Her Autumn-Winter collection consisted of kurtas, jackets, shrugs, trousers, skirts and jeggings.
"I have mainly used wool, velvets and jakarta," said Pallavi adding, "I have mainly focussed on the detailing of the outfits like I have done laser cut on the wool and I used patch work of varied shapes like hearts, blocks and circles. I have used leather and metal as well. I imported Jakarta fabric."
Truly, intricate and attractive cutwork, beat work, oil printing, digital printing and patch work certainly enhances overall look of outfits designed by Pallavi.
Also, use of gold and silver jakarta fabric make dresses perfect for evening wear.
"I have used shades of black, brown, red and blues. Also, one can see lot of bling," said Pallavi who has kept the price bracket between Rs.7,000 to Rs.50,000.
