Band members supported Perrie Edwards in tough times

Los Angeles: Singer Perrie Edwards says her fellow Little Mix members stood by her when she was going through tough times. Edwards underwent a rough patch when her singer boyfriend Zayn Malik was accused of cheating on her with Australian waitress. However, for Edwards, her band members Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall were like her sisters. "I try not to let what I read in the paper get to me. But I still read things and I think, `That didn`t happen.` But as long as me and the rest of the girls know it`s not true, that`s what matters. We laugh about things and refuse to let it get to us," mirror.co.uk quoted Edwards as saying. "The best part about being in a group is having each other for support. The girls are like my sisters and always look out for me. They have helped me through what has happened," she added. IANS
