Big Festive sale: As Amazon, Flipkart intensify competition, customers stand to benefit

New Delhi: Millions of customers can benefit from the festive bonanza sale that the online shopping retailers have kicked off.

Customers, in particular can make the most out of the festive sales, as e-commerce sites such as Flipkart and Amazon have announced their 5-day shopping sales starting Tuesday.

Flipkart's app-only shopping event, to be held between October 13 and 17, will offer exciting offers and unbeatable discounts across 70+ product categories for customers to shop from while Amazon has also announced the Great Indian Festive Sale for its customers between the same period.

Amazon's has promised to offer fantastic deals for buyers across its product range  --PCs, tablets, mobile phones, clothing, home and kitchen and electronics.

Amazon has also announced a gift of 1kg gold on each of the sale days to one winner who would shop on Amazon App. A random draw of lots will be taken out and customers who can answer correctly in a qualifying contest will get a chance to receive the prize.
