Xiaomi all set to launch Mi Max in India today

New Delhi: Chinese tech giant Xiaomi is all set to launch its much anticipated device, the Mi Max smartphone in India in Thursday.

Launched in May in China, the Mi Max will be launched at a much publicised event in Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi. The event is scheduled to start at 11:30 am.

Xiaomi India has tweeted:

50,000 Mi fans are said to have registered for the 2016 Mi Product launch event.

The Mi Max features a 6.44-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels. As is the name, the Mi Max weighs 203 gms.

Running Android Marshmallow, the Mi Max is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM.

It will come with 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card.

The device packs a 16MP primary camera on the rear and a 5MP front shooter for selfies. It also packs a 4850mAh non removable battery.
