Lydia Maurer replaces Manish Arora at Paco Rabanne

Lydia Maurer has replaced Indian fashion designer Manish Arora at Paco Rabanne as its new ready-to-wear artistic director for womenswear.

Los Angeles: Lydia Maurer has replaced Indian fashion designer Manish Arora at Paco Rabanne as its new ready-to-wear artistic director for womenswear.
Arora, who joined Paco Rabanne as the new creative director of its womenswear collection in February 2011, parted ways with label last month amicably after only a year.
Now, 29-year-old Maurer will take over from Arora. "The Paco Rabanne House is pleased to announce the appointment of Lydia Maurer as the new Artistic Director of its Women`s Ready-to-Wear," the French fashion house said in a statement. Maurer graduated from Studio Ber?ot design school in Paris and worked for both Yves Saint Laurent and Givenchy before taking on the direction of the Paco Rabanne Studio in November 2011. She will present her first Spring/Summer 2013 collection in Paris this upcoming October. PTI
