Mercedes GLE 400 4MATIC petrol variant launched in India at Rs 74.9 lakh

New Delhi:Luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz India  on Thursday announced the launch of the petrol variant GLE 400 4MATIC.

This is the first instance when the GLE will be available in a petrol variant in India.

The Mercedes-Benz GLE 400 4MATIC is priced at Rs 74.90 lakhs (Ex-showroom, New Delhi).

The GLE 400 4MATIC was introduced by Roland Folger, Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India and will be available across Mercedes-Benz dealerships.

The 7th product from Mercedes-Benz’s portfolio, the GLE 400 4MATIC will be initially available as a CBU, and the local production will follow later in the year

The GLE SUV now has now 4 variants in India: GLE 250d, GLE 350d, GLE 400 and the AMG GLE 450 Coupe

The GLE 400 4MATIC features a V6 petrol engine that churns out 245 kW (333 hp) and 480 Nm of torque available at as low as 1600 rpm. Motorized by the 7G-TRONIC PLUS transmission, this SUV ensures rapid gear shifts, in turn enhancing the driving performance.\

Other key features of the GLE 400 4MATIC include --full LED headlamps with intelligent light system, electric sunroof, memory package for driver and front passenger, parking package with active parking assist and 360° camera, mirror package with brand logo projection.
